Abstract :
Abstract:In this research, the process of scientific production’s situation in the area of human rights has been considered during 1990-2011, by using Scopus informational base. The current research was a kind of scientometrics studies and the society of the research are papers that have been indexed in Scopus by the subject of human rights (international law area). The results of consideration showed that the amount of world’s scientific productions at Scopus about human rights during the years 1990-2011 has been 960 documents which “Petersmann,E.U.” and Meindersma,C” in order, with 5 and 4 scientific production (0.94%) werethe most productive researchers in the area of human rights. University of Oxford with 13 scientific productions (1.35%) has also been the most productive university at universal level in the field of related research to human rights. Also the process of scientific production showed that an ascending and continuing growth has come into existence in the amount of productions, from 2006.It should be mentioned that among all the considered journals, the journal of ‘Human rights Quarterly” by publishing 50 papers, 5.21% of all scientific productions , has published most documents in the area of human rights. Also paper “The human right to water” that was published in the journal of “Water policy” in 1998, received 77 citations, has been the most effective and mostly cited research which has been done in the area of human rights (international law).
