Abstract:Impacts of various concentrations of Gibberelic acid (GA) (0, 25, 50, 75 and 100 ppm), Salicylic acid (SA) (0, 25, 50, 75 and 100 ppm) and Ascorbic acid (ASc) (0, 25, 50, 75 and 100 ppm) for 12 and 15h at 10 and 12h at 15?C on Mountain Rye (Secale montanum) germination characteristic were evaluated under cold stress by using a completely randomized design with four replications in the seed laboratory of Nat ural Resources Faculty, University of Tehran, Karaj, Iran. Results showed that priming treatments significantly (p? 0.01) affected, germination percentage (GP), normal seedling percentage (NSP), germination Index (GI), seedling dry weight (SDW),seedling vigor index (SVI) and seedling length (SL) under cold stress. In general, treatment with concentrations 25 ppm GA for 12 and 15 h at 10 and for 12 h at 15?Ccould consider as optimal treatment for priming of secale montanom of seeds in cold stress conditions.
