  • Abstract
    The total synthesis of (–)-raumacline from L-tryptophan was achieved, featuring a cisspecific Pictet–Spengler reaction, a stereoselective Dieckmann cyclization, and an epimerization step that allowed complete stereocontrol of five chiral centres.
