Abstract :
ABSTRACT: Phosphorus is known as a key element in the plant. Phosphorus roles are cell division and development, photosynthesis and energy transfer in the plant. Phosphorus is provided through chemical and animal fertilizer. The average amount of phosphorus in soil is 0.05 % by weight. There are high levels of phosphorus in calcareous soil. But about 0.1% of the total phosphorus is available for plants. Phosphorus has low solubility and it is fixed by the soil. In this case we can to increase the solubility of phosphorus by microorganisms. The most important microorganismes are mycorrhiza fungi that they are a significant role in enhancing the capability of phosphorus. This fungus not only is responsible to provide in phosphorus mobility, but the role of phosphorus transfer from soil to the root. Therefore, date palm cultivate in the dry areas with high lime rate, this project was conducted as a randomized complete block design with four replications (blocks) in a greenhouse at agricultural research of Khuzestan during 2009 to 2011. Factor A in five rate of fertilizer superphosphate Triple: 0, 5, 10, 15, 20 mg/kg soil, factor B include: with or without mycorrhiza inoculation. Stability, fresh and dry weigh total, shoots and roots of date palm, length of shoot and root in different treatments were measured. The results showed there were significantly different on stability, fresh and dry weight of roots and shoots, height of date palm and lenght of root (P < 5%).
