Abstract :
Assessing quality of electronic services enables us to get to know how well communication and information technology applications are settled. This in turn could lead to improve such services in the country using the feedback achieved from their implementation. The present study opts to evaluate the quality of electronic services in the sector in Iran based on “E-QUAL” model. The survey study was carried out using the descriptive method. The statistical population of this study includes all customers of sports manufacturing companies in Iran. The information was collected via a 22-item questionnaire. Reliability coefficient was then found to be (?=0.88). To further evaluate and analyze the findings of the study, descriptive statistics (to describe the demographic features of the respondents) and inferential statistics (binominal test to analyze the hypothesis) were used through SPSS software’s. The findings of the present study reveal that sellers of sports equipment’s and accessories were only pleased with “usability” of electronic services and that the other two items, namely quality of information and services interactions were not satisfactory enough to them. In general, sports manufacturing companies need to give consideration to all three criteria of electronic services in order to consolidate the quality of the information as well as better interactions within services
