Abstract
Phenazopyridine hydrochloride is an important drug which is widely used as an analgesic and antibacterial drug with an antibiotic complement to cure urethras infection. Since the body environment is chiral, the chiral drugs show more effective interaction with their chiral receptors and so they show better efficiency compared with achiral drugs. In this research it is desirable to synthesis intrinsic chiral phenazopyridine derivatives by introducing a calix unit on these compounds, because of the multifunctional calix unit we hope that the antibacterial properties of this derivative to be likely increased.
