Solvent-free synthesis of thiazol derivatives via multi-component reaction of alkylbromide

The zwitterion formed from an aroyl or alkanoyl isothiocyanate and secondary amines reacts with alkyl bromids to form thiazol derivatives in relatively good yields under solvent-free conditions at room temperature without using a catalyst.
