Abstract :
Symbol meanings of the Horse date back to prehistory, and the first civilized, written acknowledgement of the Horse comes in the third millennium BC. This paper will investigate the symbol of horse (white horse) in different cultural backgrounds all over the world. To achieve a general view to this subject, the white horse mythology is talked. Then it will get into the symbolism of horse (white horse) in different cultures, including: Celtic, Greek, Norse and Slavic from Europe, and Finno-Ugric, Iranian and Hindu from Asia, and also the religions of Buddhist and Christian.
