Abstract :
In this paper, we have used the Plane Wave Expansion methods, which is one of the
numerical solution methods in frequency domains for calculation and simulation of the band structure
diagram and denotations of photonic band gap for inside band gap application for designing the
optical devices in nano scales. In this paper, we have studied the periodic of two dimensional
photonic crystal with rods made of Silicon and circular ahaoneycomb lattice structure with different
radiuses in TE and TM modes.
