Abstract
Guinea fowls are wild animals which live in arid rural areas in many African countries and have been occurring in very considerable numbers in recent years with improving organic agriculture. Because of productivity improving with amendment methods, their productions have increased. For this and other reasons, its breeding has expanded especially in some European countries. It can be used as a genes resource. In this work, the aims and importance of raising Guinea fowl breeders, and the energy and nutrient requirements of Guinea fowl breeders are summarized.
