Explanation of the Relationship between Religion and Social Capital

This research explores the relationship between religion and social capital. To achieve this goal, the concept of social capital has been studied from the perspective of the authors and then there is description about quality and quantity of social capital such as trust, social awareness, and participation and communication level. The most important religious teachings which play an important role in the creation of social capital have been analyzed with the clarification of elements of social capital. The relationship between religion and social capital is the statement that is important from the perspective of the impact that religion has on the development process because of the development of religious perspective. The purpose of the present paper is based on the survey archival and qualitative research approach of the way that in its frame religion is realized as a system with several components through various dimensions and from other side social capital as a strong phenomenon provides sustainable social and cultural field.
