Abstract :
A new tetranuclear compound containing Ru(II) and Ir(III) polypyridine subunits exhibits two independent emissions at room temperature, as a consequence of weak interchromophoric coupling; in contrast, at 77 K energy transfer from Irbased chromophores to the Ru-based ones is quantitative.
