Quantum Weyl Algebras Original Research Article

Let R be a Hecke symmetry. There is then a natural quantization An(R) of the nth Weyl algebra An based on R. The aim of this paper is to study some general ring-theoretical aspects of An(R) and its relation to formal deformations of An. We also obtain further information on those quantizations obtained from some well-known Hecke symmetries.
