Bounds for the Quality Parameter of Digital Shift Nets over 2

Until now, the concept of digital (t,m,s)-nets is the most powerful concept for the construction of low-discrepancy point sets in the s-dimensional unit cube. In this paper we consider a special class of digital nets over 2, the so-called shift nets introduced by W. Ch. Schmid, and give bounds for the quality parameter t of such nets.
