Abstract :
An algorithm for the decomposition matrix of Suz(q) is given. By using this algorithm, results of Felt and Chastkofsky, and some other techniques, two rows of the matrix, which correspond to the two imaginary irreducible ordinary characters, are determined. Some other entries are also determined by the same method, also several formulas for the entries of the first column which corresponds to the projective cover of the trivial module are given. As an application all decomposition numbers of Suz(22n + 1) for n ≤ 3 are determined.
