Abstract :
We study the Betti numbers which appear in a minimal free resolution of the Stanley–Reisner ringk[Δ] of a Buchsbaum complex Δ and find a characterization of Buchsbaum complexes Δ for which a minimal free resolution ofk[Δ] is linear.
