  • Abstract
    The first series of alkaline-earth palladium oxide–fluorides Ba2–xSrxPdO2F2(0<=x<=1.5) display the Tʹ structure (Nd2CuO4) instead of the predicted T structure (La2CuO4), showing that electronic factors prevail over steric factors.
