A Homological Fibration forGl∞ Original Research Article

Given a finite degree field extensionEmidFof nonfinite fields we show homologicallyBGl(E) can be viewed as the total space of fibration with fibreBGl(F). Associated with this fibration is a spectral sequence relating the homology of stable linear groups over field extensions.
