A Simplicity Criterion for Finite Groups, Original Research Article

Given a finite groupG, let πe(G) denote the set of all orders of elements inG. In this paper, we investigate the relation between the number of primes and that of composite numbers in πe(G) and obtain a criterion for the simplicity of finite groups.
