Abstract :
New organic dyes that contain variable lengths of conjugation featuring alternating thiophene and fluorene segments have been synthesized and efficient nano-crystalline TiO2 based dye-sensitized solar cells were fabricated using these molecules as lightharvesting sensitizers.
