Abstract :
This conference was organised by members of the Personal Construct Psychology (PCP) group at the University of Wollongong. It has been held biennially since 1983 and is smaller than usual due partly to individuals anticipating attending next year’s International Congress on PCP in Brisbane. While the PCP theory and associated methodologies, such as repertory grids and laddering, were developed within the clinical field, they have been widely used in other psychological areas such as organisational and health psychology. Indeed economics, management, nursing, education and, marketing and nutrition are all areas where the approach has been usefully applied. This conference reflected some of these foci, with research, methodological and clinical papers being presented.
