A Modification of Variational Iteration Method for Solving a Class of Nonlinear Initial-Boundary Value Problems

In this paper, the variational iteration method is used to solve a class of nonlinear parabolic initial-boundary value problems. A weighted algorithm based on variational iteration method which uses the initial and boundary conditions simultaneously and effectively is established. For illustration the ability of this algorithm, some examples are considered. The validity of the proposed algorithm is confirmed by the numerical results.
