Abstract :
What are ‘‘feminisms’’ and how might teaching them contribute to IR
pedagogy? For the field of international relations, feminisms contribute
both a methodology and a deep normative critique. This piece argues
that teaching gender analysis as critique is an indispensable pedagogical
tool and outlines three means by which it might be mainstreamed into
IR teaching
