On the Fueter Model and Monogeneity of Rings of Integers Original Research Article

Let K be an imaginary quadratic field in which 2 splits. If image is an integral ideal, let K(image) denote the ray class field with ray image. Ph. Cassou-Noguès and M. J. Taylor (J. London Math. Soc. (2), 37, 1988, p. 65. Theorem 2) show that K(image) is monogenic over K(1), the Hilbert class field of K, if image is coprime to 2. Moreover, the generator involved is given in terms of torsion values of the Fueter function. In this paper we remove the restriction that (image, 2) = 1.
