Abstract
If the existence of the Leech lattice and its covering radius √2 are assumed then the construction and uniqueness of the (other) 23 Niemeier lattices can be given sequentially using the notion of Leech glue roots defined in the even unimodular Lorentzian lattice of rank 26.
