A Family of Cubic Fields and Zeros of 3-adicL-Functions Original Research Article

We construct a family of cyclic cubic fields with explicit fundamental units. As an application, we show, assuming Schinzelʹs hypothesisH, that there are 3-adicL-functions with zeros arbitrarily close tos=1.
