Deforming an Even Representation II, Raising the Level Original Research Article

Starting from a surjective representationρ: Gal(Q/Q)→SL2(Z3) a technique is developed to ensure that certain primes can be added to the level, i.e. that there exists a representation congruent toρ mod 3 ramified at the new prime as well. Several such primes are found. Also, several pairs of primes and one triple are found that can be added to the level simultaneously.
