Integral Points on the Unit Circle Original Research Article

The following problem was posed by Dipendra Prasad. Characterize number fields K for which the equationX2+Y2=1has a non trivial integral solution and determine all such solutions, for a given K. In this paper we give a complete solution to this problem.
