Grothendieckʹs pairing for Jacobians and base change Original Research Article

We explicitly describe Grothendieckʹs pairing on the component group of the Néron model of the Jacobian of a curve using the intersection matrix of a regular proper model of the curve in some new cases where the curve does not have a K-rational point.
