Community-based nursing versus community health nursing: What does it all mean?

With policy makers calling for the development of community-based, culturally appropriate, and comprehensive health care systems, it has become necessary for U.S. nursing schools to develop curricula and provide clinical experiences in community-based nursing. Articulating the differences between community-based and community health nursing practice is a necessary first step in improving any nurseʹs ability to care for individuals, families, and communities.
