The following interview includes material transcribed from tapes of face-to-face interviews in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on August 4 and August 5, 2009, as well as material from a public interview that composed the final session of A Symposium in Honor of Richard W. Bailey, held December 6, 2008, at the University of Michigan.
