Abstract :
The in vitro metabolism of atrazine was investigated by tulip (Tulipa gesneriana L. cv. Golden Apeldorn) cyt P450. A type 11 binding spectrum was obtained between the tulip cyt P450 and atrazine. It was indicated that the metabolite of atrazine was a double dealkylated product and control experiments indicated metabolism performed by cyt P450.
