Abstract :
A risk assessment for soils should be based on the total content of pollutants and their mobile and bioavailable fractions. Therefore extraction for soils were tested, containing e.g. organic acids, tensides and humic acids.
Atrazine, lindane, pyrene and PCB 52 were used as test substances. Besides the comparison of different extraction solutions clean up steps were tested and their influence on the measured concentrations of the pollutants in the extracts elucidated.
