A comparative study of three commercially available biocides against biofilm and planktonic Legionella pneumophila

involves physical disruption of the biofilm hopefully forcing bacteria back into log phase of growth where they are susceptible to antibiotics in a way not possible when they are in the stationary phase normally seen in natural biofilm.
