ASPERGILLUS FUMIGATUS AND SUPERSONIC AVIATION, 4 BIOCIDAL CONTROL

The control of an albino strain of Aspergillus {umigatus which assimilates hydrocorbon and has exhibited the potential to grow in, and cause corrosion of, the fuel tanks of supersonic aircraft is reported. The effectiveness of the biocides: E.G.M.E. (ethylene glycol monomethyl ether), BioborIF, strontium chromate, and RH 886, were evaluated.
