Abstract :
Today, there is growing interest in the applicability of chemical
processing technology to the production of metallic and composite materials.
The aerosol synthesis of nanostructured materials is accomplished through
methods such as ion-sputtering and ion-deposition, laser ablation, evaporation
and condensation in vacuum, sol gel, plasma-jet techniques, novel spray
conversion process, starting from water soluble precursors, or spray drying of
the starting solution to form a chemically homogeneous precursor powder.
