On Initial Boundary Value Problems for a Viscous, Heat-Conducting, One-Dimensional Real-Gas

We consider initial boundary value problems, including boundary damping, for the equations of motion of a viscous, heat-conducting, one-dimensional real gas and prove the existence of globally defined smooth (large) solutions.
