Oscillation of linear difference equations in Banach spaces

One can easily show that almost all solutions of the difference equation where , oscillate iff any root of the characteristic polynomial of this equation W(z) zn−∑l=0n−1alzl with maximal absolute value is not a real positive number. We show an analogue of this result for difference equations in Banach spaces with operator coefficients.
