Removal of lanthanum from aqueous solutions by natural bentonite

The aim of this work is the investigation of possible use of natural bentonite in the removal of lanthanum contained in aqueous solutions. The effect of temperature was examined in order to establish Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherms. Langmuir and Freundlich constants were also determined.
