On body size of infected mice

Coutinho et al.ʹs experimental observation reveals that infected mice gain higher body weight. A theoretical analysis is given to explain the phenomenon, the result agrees remarkably well with Coutinho et al.ʹs experimental data (Acta Tropica 101, 2007, pp. 15–24).
