Abstract :
A series of tritylated difluorodeoxynucleosides represent novel prodrugs in which there exists a predictable correlation between the electronic nature of the aromatic substituents on the trityl moiety and the acid mediated dissociation to free drug in ex vivo, in vitro and in vivo systems.
