Abstract :
The fungus Mucor plumbeus catalyzes the enzymatic cyclization of Naftazone to naphtho-(1,2-e)-(1,2,4)-triazine-(3H)-one. This compound inhibits the induction and the activity of NO synthase by activated murine peritoneal macrophages.
