Abstract :
The development of a novel series of carbamoylamino acid benzoylpiperidides as CCKB ligands is described. Selected members of the series antagonized CCK8-induced calcium mobilization and showed efficacy in the mouse elevated-plus maze, a measure of potential anxiolytic activity.
