Abstract :
Novel heterodimers containing an acyclic nucleoside and a carbamate linkage were incorporated into oligonucleotides, and the melting temperatures of the DNA-DNA and DNA-RNA duplexes as well as the nuclease resistance of the modified oligonucleotides were studied.
