Macrocyclic triamines as linkers in two-armed receptors for peptides

Commercially available triazamacrocycles have been substituted with trimesic acid/1,2-diamine cyclooligomers to create a new class of sequence-selective receptors for peptides. Screening of these compounds against a 3375-member library of N-acetyl tripeptides revealed novel peptide-binding properties.
