Abstract
Two tricyclic analogs of artemisinin were designed based on a Comparative Molecular Field Analysis (CoMFA) model, and synthesized for antimalarial testing as part of a program to construct and validate modeling tools for drug design of novel antimalarial agents based on the natural product lead, (+)-artemisinin.
