Inhibition of nematode induced root damage by derivatives of methylenecyclopropane acetic acid

Methylenecyclopropane acetic acid (MCPA), an inhibitor of fatty acid oxidation, and several derivatives were shown to be potent inhibitors of root galling induced by the nematode pest Meloidogyne incognita.
