Abstract :
Environmental stresses, including drought and temperature, affect nearly every aspect of the plant physiology and biochemistry, and significantly diminish yield. This study investigated the effects of super absorbent (zeolite and superabsorbent polymers) on the yield and yield components in Rapeseed (Brassica napus cvs Zarfam) under water deficit. Research was conducted with complete randomized block experimental design with split –plot arrangement with three replications. In this research, the main plots consisted of water deficit with three levels: 1- Cut Irrigation in Vegetative ( I1) 2- Cut Irrigation in flowering ( I2), 3- Cut Irrigation in silique feeding ( I3). And super absorbent (Zeolite and superabsorbent polymers) application were performed at four levels: 1- (Control) Non super absorbent (C), 2- Zeolit 10 ton per hector (Zeo), 3- superabsorbent polymers 1 Kg per hector (S). 4- Combine Zeolit and superabsorbent polymers (Zeo*S) were allotted to sub plots. Results of analysis of variance indicated that the interaction effects of water deficit, super absorbent and manure application on the characteristics Plant height, the number of silique per plant, the number of grain in silique, grain yield, biological yield, harvest index and Chlorophyll content were significant at the 1% level. In this study, the highest grain yield (3528.4 kg ha-1), Biological yield (9269.4 kg ha-1), Number of grain in silique(22.6N.O)and 1000grainwight(3.57 gr)were observed from Cut Irrigation in Vegetative * Combine Zeolit and superabsorbent polymers consuming. On the other hand, the most of Plant height(127.9 Cm), Branches per plant(3.82 N.o), Number of silique per plant (116.7 N.o) and chlorophyll content (45.36 SPAD) were calculated Cut Irrigation in silique feeding* Combine Zeolit and superabsorbent polymers consuming. Water stress at silique feeding reduced grain per silique and grain yiela, biological yield, harvest index characteristics.
