Abstract :
In this paper, successive-approximations-register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter has been presented. Due to the middle speed and power, this converter is very efficient in data transfer applications. Split architecture has been used that provides the requirements for completely digital calibration and obviates the nonlinear error due to converter’s capacitors mismatch error by correcting the relative weights. As well as, sub-radix-2 has been used in the converter structure that in addition to improving DNL and INL, corrects the code losing error. DNL and INL resulted from simulating a 12bit SAR converter have been computed before and after calibration and their improvement after calibration is completely evident
