Price competition of make-to-order firms

Examines the essence of the competition of a duopoly of two make-to-order firms by modeling each of them as a service station with an exponential service time distribution. Difference of the service capacities between the firms; Attainment of sufficient conditions for the existence of a Nash equilibrium; Ability of the firm with the higher speed of service to charge a premium price and not take a larger market share.
